The TransPort router is the ideal router solution for branch offices, SOHO, SMB, and other small-scale premise routing applications with up to 4 (four) T1/E1 connections. The TransPort router provides advanced business-class features including NAT firewall, QoS, VPN VRRP, Dynamic Routing, Line bonding, peer-to-peer traffic control and more.

The TransPort has a 1.0 GHz VIA C7 processor, which gives the TransPort enough processing power to forward 100 Mb full duplex Ethernet at wire speed almost down to 512 byte packets, and over 20 Mbps full duplex with pure 64-byte packets. The new TransPort also includes an additional 10/100 port for a total of 4 onboard Ethernet ports. It uses an external AC/DC power supply to support the 15 VDC input power, and it includes a single PCI slot for add-on interfaces and comes standard with 256Mb RAM.
