ImageStream PCI Express Network Cards

ImageStream's Industrial Series network cards are used with ImageStream's Industrial Series routers to provide a wide range of network interfaces. ImageStream now has new products that support the PCI Express backplane. PCI Express, or PCIe for short, is a scalable Input/Output serial bus technology which has several advantages including increased performance at a low price point. PCIe is a point-to-point connection, meaning it does not share bandwidth, but allows for direct communication between devices via a switch that directs data flow. It also consumes less power than standard PCI. ImageStream's Express Series routers support the PCI Express series LAN and WAN cards, such as one to six port 10/100/1000 copper or fiber ethernet, 10 Gigabit Multimode or Single Mode ethernet and OC3 — OC12 POS and ATM cards.
